Endometrial ablation is a surgical procedure that removes the inside layer (the endometrium) or lining of the uterus.

The endometrium is the part that sheds each month as a period (menstruation). Dr Wynn-Williams performs Novasure Endometrial Ablation as a Day Case procedure for most women.

a. Novasure device is placed snuggly with the uterine cavity.


b. The device is activated and burns the active endometrium.
